Right to Cancel

Under federal law, you have the right to cancel any contract with a credit repair organization without penalty or obligation. If you decide to cancel, you must notify the company before midnight on the third business day after signing the contract.

How to Cancel

Each contract will include a Notice of Cancellation form that allows you to easily cancel your agreement. To cancel, simply send a signed and dated copy of this notice—or any other written request—to

[Name of Credit Repair Organization]

[Address of Credit Repair Organization]

Your cancellation request must be submitted before midnight on [date] to be valid.

By signing below, you acknowledge that you are canceling this transaction:

[Date]

[Purchaser’s Signature]

Consumer Copy of Contract

When you sign an agreement with a credit repair organization, you are entitled to receive a copy of the completed contract and all required disclosures at the time of signing. This includes:

  1. A copy of the full contract and any legally required disclosure statements.

  1. Any additional documents the credit repair organization requires you to sign.

These protections ensure that you fully understand your rights and obligations before committing to any credit repair service. If you have questions about your right to cancel, you can contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your state’s Attorney General’s office for more information.
